The Rise of Sellenmar
Rugged looking fellow in his early forties. He tends to be gruff, no-nonsense individual with a fierce streak of pride.
Once a successful merchant from Restov, Oleg fell onto hard times after beign caught up in a nasty bit of Brevic politics. Tired of the constant machinations and political maneuverings that dominate urban life in Restov, Oleg decided to move what was left of his business to the Greenbelt and start over. All he ever really wanted was to run a successful trading post with his wife Svetlana far enough from the sins of civilization without living so far that he couldn’t enjoy all of its benefits.
However, a quiet country life does not seem to be Oleg’s fate. Despite his best efforts, he has become an integral figure in the nation of Sellenmar, serving as Lord Gregor’s chief treasurer.
Because of Oleg’s role in the public shaming of Kesten Garress in Calistril 4715, his relationship with the general has quickly deteriorated. Although Oleg has said on a number of occasions that Kesten is a capable and proven soldier, he has been relentless in his criticism of the man’s actions and is very vocal in his disdain for corrupt officials. As such, he has made public statements demanding General Garresses resignation. These statements have in turn angered Kesten and the two men’s frequent arguments since the incident have nearly come to blows on several occasions.
